Heirloom quality with hybrid reliability. Damsel is a sweet, luscious, dark pink tomato with rich heirloom flavor comparable to Brandywine but with a much more reliable and disease resitant plant. Firmer than an heirloom, so it holds better off the vine, but will soften up nicely if you let it get super ripe. My favorite field tomato.
